Our scooter speedo gage was really hard to read. Its in KM and MPH. Going down the road I couldnt just glance at it and tell how fast I was going. Actualy the 1st few months I was thinking wow this this really moves,why is everyone trying to run me over... untill I realized the primary scale was the KM. Here I already removed cluster fom scoot, removed the face and bezel. Beyond me to repaint the scale so I modified to high light the MPH. Ive seen folks are making replacemnet panles for some scoots. |

Masked off and sprayed over the rather large KM numbers & graduations with flat black. masked of and left the original arc as the needle has a funny sweep. |

Then I remasked, laying out graduations to align with MPH numbers. As the numbers are quite small I made the 10 mph graduations rather thick. With thin 5mph between.Use some old yellow spray paint. Would have like to change to white but not enough to redoing it. |

Reassembled. Not sure-would have been nice to do custom face. But for what this is not worth the trouble |

Cool. I like it. I can easily glance down and tell how fast Im going. Dont even need to focus on the numbers. Very easy cheap (& looks it) mod that helps keep me under the legal 35mpg limit for this scooter. |
