Suzuki fuse box location/ radio removal
Radio losing power/wont come on
Fuse box location to left of steering wheel bottom of dash. Manual lists fuse size and what it protects. 1st thing and easiest to check.
Removing radio if its not fuse in panel.
To remove ashtray, with it open depress the tab and pull out.
Once back of radio exposed. Generally its either the white ground plug, (Unplug and reinsert).
I had added the second auxillary ground wire as I thought was issue 1st time but I also pulled the main fuse and checked.
With 2 grounds now, unlikly that is the issue.
Or the most likely, the main 15 amp fuse in radio.
Unplugging main fuse verify its OK or replace/ reinsert. (I believe its bad connection on the radios fuse that loses connection,
as last time thats all i did, unplug reinsert and radio started working),
There is an inline fuse on memory (yellow) wire, covered in foam (foam really not needed) its a glass fuse but the 2 times I had apart wasn't the issue.
If checking the ground and radio fuse and still doesn't work check the inline. Its 2 plastic halves, lightly push together and turn about 1/4 trun and pull apart.
At any point plug in the main harness to see if radio powers up...
